IC INFORMATION
Character Name: Alice Pleasance Liddell
Species: Human
Canon: Books: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass
Canon Point: After defeating the Red Queen but before waking up.
Character Age: 7 - Alice is a curiosity-driven adventurer who faced all sorts of mad, weird, and dangerous people and situations. She has her own canon maze/labyrinth that she solved and her many other riddles and puzzles to get from one place to another. She's had to deal with babies having things thrown at their heads and then turning into pigs, the Queen and King of Hearts actively attempting to behead her (and others), and cats who can grin and disappear and reappear wherever they please and enjoy pissing off aforementioned royalty.

She's dealt with drinks and mushrooms making her shrink and grow, her tears making a giant pool that she nearly drowned in, Alice is very used to being incredibly curious about things and also going with the flow. In the Looking Glass, the White Queen turned into a sheep, she had to deal with the existential crisis that the Red King is dreaming of her and if he wakes up everyone and everything will cease to be (while she herself is dreaming). Both worlds are filled with talking animals, talking objects, talking flowers, and talking food. She's dealt with the Jabberwocky which is technically a dragon. And just really unsettling things constantly occur around or to Alice and for the most part she handles all of it in stride.

CRAU: No
CRAU Explanation: N/A
Character Appearance: Tiny blonde is tiny
Powers and Abilities:
  • Alice has no abilities as far as fighting and magical powers go (unless you were to count her vast imagination). However, Alice is quite adept at baking at her age. It wouldn't be anything terribly fancy, but basic sweets, tea, and simple dishes are well within the realm of her capabilities.

  • She can also do some minor sewing and embroidering because it's what a proper lady "should know." She knows fluent French and a little Latin. In general, anything that a young lady would know of her era she either knows or was learning it (or going to learn it).

  • Alice also makes amazing daisy-chains and flower crowns.

  • Well versed in poetry and stories and able to recite them easily.

  • Her BEST ability is that she is extremely talented at riddles and chess, even for her age.

Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most?
There are technically two people Alice is the most bonded with in equal measure. In Wonderland her closest relationship is with the Cheshire Cat who is the kindest to her and helps her through Wonderland when she's feeling particularly stuck in the moment. He also checks in on her when she visits the Queen and King of Hearts which gets said royals upset because he refuses to kowtow to them. In the Looking Glass, Alice's closest relationship is with the White Knight who rescued her from the Red Knight while she was still a pawn. He protected her and guided her to the next square before having to leave as his task of protecting Alice was done.

2. What are they most afraid of?
Alice has a deep fear of the dark (and being beheaded). She is most scared of being alone IN the dark. When she's alone in the dark, she tends to freeze up.

3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?
Alice's emotional weakness is that she's too curious for her own good. It gets her into all sorts of trouble at every opportunity, she canonically says "I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it, that might explain the trouble I'm always in." She knows that her curiosity causes her trouble but can't resist regardless.

Mentally, Alice can be quite stubborn and persnickety, once you make her upset she can be very rude and she's not at all likely to walk-back her perception.

Physically she's a 7-year-old human child, so she's just incredibly physically weak overall.

4. What would make them happiest?
Alice would be happiest being in a giant field of flowers on a bright sunny day with all sorts of cats running about to pet and cuddle and having a tea party with her family and friends. Somewhere, a game of chess is set up ready for her to go and someone wants to play a riddle game with her.

5. What’s their type for a lover?
Alice is too little to want or have a "type" but she does have notions that they should be "romantic" even though she doesn't really understand what that means or implies and that's just things adults say. Alice likes friends who are smart but kind and willing to play games and explore things. There is no such thing as "sated curiosity" there are always more questions and answers to those questions and she'd like someone to come along for the ride with those.
