Well anyway... I guess I just wanted to introduce myself. He's been teaching me how to fight with a dagger and he's been pretty cool before that. Get to know the important people to someone who is one of your important people, that sort of thing. I'm Mokuba.

I can't say I've ever heard someone outright say you should get to know the important people who are important to your important people. Is Papa Loki important to you or to Mr. Kaiba?

Yeah, Seto is my brother! You can just call me Mokuba, we're not that far apart in age, I don't think... I just turned 12 here.

Well, it's probably not something most people do where we come from... but there's a lot less people here to know, so might as well, and I never really had the chance to get to know any people younger than my brother back where we came from because of how busy we were... [ It's a little embarrassing admitting that. ]

It's probably both. The whole reason I trusted Loki in the first place was because my brother was close to him already.

Oh, there are plenty of people not to know here. I certainly don't know everyone.

[Alice doesn't think it's a particularly sad situation, Victorian child that she is, it's not that uncommon for children to be completely and utterly shut off from other people all the time!] If you would like to know me, that is fine, but I should warn you I'm terribly mad.

Not about anything, I'm not that sort of mad. That is, I'm not angry at anything or anyone. I could be, I suppose, plenty of things to be soured on while here. But no, you're thinking of mad as in angry, I believe. Mad as in mad doesn't have to be about anything. That's one of its defining features, in fact.

Oh, got it. That's okay. I've been through a lot of weird things before, that doesn't bother me at all.
